Organise a workshop Workshops in briefThe Workshops are held in parallel with the International Conference “Innovating cities across the world”. The Workshops are organized at the initiative of the participants in S-DEV Geneva 05, who are responsible for their content. Registration of Workshops All proposals for a Workshop should be made using the Application Form on the right side of this page. All proposals will be submitted to the S-DEV Ethics Committee for validation. The public All Conference delegates and visitors of the Exhibition have access to the Workshops. The organizer of each Workshop will receive 50 vouchers valid for one day giving admission to the Exhibition and Workshops, for distribution to customers, members, students, etc. Status of the Workshops as of 2 September 2005 At present, 35 Workshops have been registered. We invite you to discover the preliminary programme of the Workshops. Available venues Nine fully equipped rooms (theatre or school style) are available, accommodating between 80 and 360 people. Reservations are subject to availability at the time of reservation. Schedule of sessions Three daily sessions : 10:00-11:30 a.m., 1:30-3:00 p.m., 4:00-5:30 p.m. Rates Small rooms accommodating 80 to 150 people : 800.- € + VAT (7.6%) per session Large rooms accommodating 200 to 360 people : 1,070.- € + VAT (7.6%) per session Equipment All the rooms are equipped with an LCD projector with PC, screen, 2 fixed microphones, 1 radio (cordless) microphone, 2 microphones on stands in the large rooms for questions and answers. A technician will be available. Other services available (rates on request) : audio/video recording, Internet connection, simultaneous interpretation (three languages maximum), video conferencing. Contact S-DEV has commissioned Rezonance for planning of the Workshops and to provide all the necessary logistic assistance.
